Effective sea-water corrosion resistance
The Copper-Nickel alloys manufactured by Deutsche Nickel GmbH include CuNi10Fe1Mn (CW352H, 2.0872), CuNi30Mn1Fe (CW354H, 2.0882) and CuNi44Mn1 (Vernicon, 2.0842).
These are corrosion resistant alloys with good resistance even to the effects of heated salt water and high flow rates.
Due to their excellent resistance to sea-water corrosion, these alloys are used in maritime environments, ship-building and valve manufacturing.
Vernicon excels both for its special corrosion resistance and its very low thermal coefficient of electrical resistivity.
