Over 160 years of experience

The origins of Deutsche Nickel GmbH date all the way back to 1861. In 1878 the company founder Theodor Fleitmann was the first to make the break-through discovery that Nickel could be made into a malleable material, suitable for hot-rolling and forging. by adding Magnesium to the melt. This discovery remains the basis of the industrial process used in nickel production to this day.
